Texsport Portable Fan/Light
Went camping this summer with it in 100 degree plus weather. Need more than one set of batteries for it to last a weekend. The light on it is the only good thing about it because the fan isn't very strong at all. There shouldn't even be a low setting because high is a moderate fan level not keeping the entire tent flowing with air. I had to sleep right under it in my 3 1/2 tall two-man tent to feel anything and still couldn't feel very much.

nice fan for the price
I only bought this because we have frequent power outages, I don't camp or hunt so I'm unable to give an recommendations for those activities. This battery operated fan, plus another I purchased, kept the TV room in our home fairly comfortable during the latest power outage this summer. Would like to have a bigger battery operated fan, but Bass Pro didn't have any. For the size and price, this is a nice fan. The light on it is an added bonus.

I bought one of these fans several years ago when I went White Water Rafting and camping. It was easy to hang from the top of my tent and worked great. Since then, I bought one more to hang from the top of the tent and also have one on the floor and it works great. I've even taken it to work to place on my desk for better air circulation. The 2 D batteries last a long time but the light leaves a little to be desired. Very happy with this product.

I bought this fan hoping that it would move air around the tent(4 person dome), but I didn't even feel a breeze. Better off buying a larger one.
