Texsport Folding Survival Shovel with Saw
Lite Duty Only
This works well for covering a campfire or light digging but it isn't well suited for heavy work due to it's size. Overall a useful camping tool that is easily carried or stored.

Waste of time and money!!!
I can't believe this has ANY good ratings... It is the WORST Item that I have seen Bass Pro sell..... Its absolute junk... you can NOT tighten the handle, it just keeps spinning and eventually the handle literally falls out.... it never tightened up no matter what we did to try to get it to work......THEN the shovel bent in half after we dug down maybe 4 inches in VERY soft ground.. BENT IN HALF!!!!!!! It MIGHT be ok to scoop sand in a bucket on a beach, but thats it!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! 15.00 poorly spent!!!!!

Good quality and great price
I was unsure of this product after reading some of the reviews. Mine came with a large scratch on the side, but it does not bother me. It's a shovel that I will be digging with! Really like how the handle slides into the body to make it more compact, and the locking mechanism on the shovel head itself. There was one person talking about how the handle kept flying off on them. This shovel is designed with a compression nut, so all one needs to do is put it to the desired length and then tighten the nut. Then it's good to go

Great camping/garden shovel
For the price, this shovel can't be beat. It's mainly a camping/garden shovel that can be used as a pick also. I would not use it for digging through hard clay or a heavily rocky ground. The saw is no flimsier than most of its size and should only be used for small branches. The shovel head has two strong locking positions. The handle slides into itself and has a shaft compression nut to extend and tighten the handle. The shovel is compact and fits my backpack nicely.
