  • A versatile and highly effective soft plastic bait
  • Flat belly and upturned paddle tail
  • Swims straight and true
The Hackberry Hustler was designed by Captain Buzz Stansel at the Hackberry Rod & Gun Club. A versatile and highly effective soft plastic bait, it features a flat belly and an upturned paddle tail that makes it swim straight and true-even when not perfectly rigged on a jighead. Keep some close at hand.

MY FAVORITE ARTIFICIAL EVER! TTF hackberry hustlers have caught me more redfish, trout, and flounder than any other Lure! The upturned pdaale tail gives this lure such great action. The hackberry hustler comes in various great colors and I have caught great fish on east beast and other various colors. My favorite fishing trip I have ever been on, I was sight casting for red fish out of my kayak and they wouldnt bite a thing! Then I put on a east beast hackberry hustler and it made all the differenc in the world. Such a great skinny water bait with great paddle tail action giving off a vibration to attract fish. One good thing about this lure, is it can be fished in multiple ways depending on water depth and what fish species you are targeting. I really reccomend this lure to anyone who fishes the saltwater bay systems in the gulf! TTF has come out with some unbelievable lures and they have tremendous customer sevice. These lures are my go to baits! October 26, 2011
Favourite Soft Plastic The Hackberry Hustler has quickly become my go to artificial lure. Easy to rig, easy to fish, and it gets results! It comes in a variety of colors that fish seem to love. I fished under lights recently with two friends, one was using a topwater, the other a different soft plastic. They simply could not compete with the Hackberry Hustler! I credit the Hackberry Hustler since I am fairly new to fishing and that brings me to another point. The simple task of rigging a soft plastic can prove not so simple when you are a novice like me. This is not a problem with the Hackberry Hustler, thanks to its design, it swims straight every time no matter how poor your rigging! As I fish more and more, I seem to accumulate more and more tackle! The Hackberry Hustler however, (along with several other TTF products) has become a permanent fixture in my tackle box! Cool Design and Action The Hackberry Hustler is a different kind of soft plastic.....you rig the tail UP instead of down like a standard paddletail....one can fish a hustler like a rat or paddletail, on a spinner, under a poppin' cork....very versatile bait...good for Specks, Flounder, Reds and Snook....Bass hitem like crazy too!!!! Great all around soft plastic! October 26, 2011
Hustlers The morning glory hackberry hustler is my "go-to" lure. Durable and amazing action. Great confidence bait. Very easy to use for beginner saltwater artificial guys like myself. October 26, 2011
