Texas Tackle Factory Hackberry Hustler
The HBH are great! Ever since my buddy turned me onto them last spring I have been hooked! I love the LSU color and so do the monster trout! This bait can be used year around and in many different situations, spring fall or winter. It can be retrieved like a swim shad, or jigged like worm. No matter how off center the jig head is it always swims straight and true, perfect for when my in-experienced girlfriend wants to bait her own hook like the rest of us! I cant say enough how great this product is. Its like the swiss army knife of soft plastics! Thanks TTF!

Caught my first Texas Slam with this jigging in the flats off a boat. I was using Gulp shrimp and shads in all different colors with no success. As soon as I started using the salt and pepper colored Hustler it was on. I could feel the vibration of tail on my rod tip when reeling it in. Caught reds and big trout with a slow retrieve. Caught a flounder letting it drop to the bottom a couple of times. If you really want to catch fish add some lunker sauce to it. Happy hustlin my friends.

Favourite Soft Plastic
The Hackberry Hustler has quickly become my go to artificial lure. Easy to rig, easy to fish, and it gets results! It comes in a variety of colors that fish seem to love. I fished under lights recently with two friends, one was using a topwater, the other a different soft plastic. They simply could not compete with the Hackberry Hustler! I credit the Hackberry Hustler since I am fairly new to fishing and that brings me to another point. The simple task of rigging a soft plastic can prove not so simple when you are a novice like me. This is not a problem with the Hackberry Hustler, thanks to its design, it swims straight every time no matter how poor your rigging!
As I fish more and more, I seem to accumulate more and more tackle! The Hackberry Hustler however, (along with several other TTF products) has become a permanent fixture in my tackle box!

Other reviews talk about how effective this lure is. I would like to mention that this lure has the vibration of the now classic paddle tail. This lure has eyes, although additional ones dont hurt. This lure has slim, rat tail like tail that allows for the common "pull, pull, drop", and finally, it can be rigged right side down, for a straighter, consistent action.
