This incredibly convenient Crusin' Caddy organizer is great addition to any small boat with limited amount of cockpit storage space. Stash your sunscreen, fishing lures, sunglasses, beverage or other personal items in the Cruisn' Caddy, and you'll have no trouble locating them later. Mounts on any flat surface. Dimensions: 12'' x 4-1/2'' x 3-1/2''.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not So Great Large suction cups simply did not work on my boat...not on the side of the boat (slightly rippled Hurricane boat fence) nor on the smooth fiberglass deck. If it came with some type of Velcro or thick sticky tape it might have saved the day, but it didn't so it's going back. March 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good looking and durable, but.... This product is attractive and durable, but I just could not get the suction cups to work effectively. I pulled them off and added double sided outdoor mounting tape. Works great and looks good. Recommendation - loose the suction cups. May 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by ok overall happy just dont count on the suction cups working need to glue them on or screw in in April 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by hold well They work better than I thought they would. I added some weight to them to see how strong they would bee and it had no problems. April 16, 2013

You could screw these in to wood. You would have to make some axess holes through the holder to do so. The holder would still work fine. I have considered doing this myself.

Sure, but try velcro first if the area is smooth enough to allow it to grab.

In the picture, the suction cups are set up to stick to a verticle surface. I would like to put it on my dash.

it is not designed to do that, you would have to modify it to do so.
