Good looking and durable, but.... This product is attractive and durable, but I just could not get the suction cups to work effectively. I pulled them off and added double sided outdoor mounting tape. Works great and looks good. Recommendation - loose the suction cups. May 4, 2013
As Good as They Come I was skeptical when I ordered the Crusin Caddy. I was afraid the suction cups would not hold well or for long at a time. Thankfully, this caddy has exceeded my expectations. It is made of very thick durable plastic and the suction cups work great! Once I had chosen a flat and smooth location to stick it on, I cleaned and moistened the surface and then stuck the caddy onto my helm. It has been there ever since without coming loose, not once. I would highly reccomend this product. June 15, 2010
Superb Product This thing is unbelievable. The suction cups never fail, even when heavily loaded (beer, pliers, knives, and crashing thru moderately heavy seas) and after having been "sucked" on the wall for several weeks. I don't know how long it would take for one of them to weaken when properly affixed. I'm sticking them on clean vertical gel-coated fiberglass, and I have only had to remove them to clean splashed fish blood from around them. Absolutely bulletproof. April 28, 2009
very sturdy Very sturdy item, the suction cups suck, so I put velcro on the back of the holder and on the boat side at the floor to allow it to sit right on the floor next to the seats front and back. (Bass Cat Pantera 2) and it worked very well. If I ever want them off for storage or to do maint. all I have to do is remove the velcro and no marks or screw holes. Overall a good product, would recommend it to a friend. Don't forget the velcro.... March 15, 2013

You could screw these in to wood. You would have to make some axess holes through the holder to do so. The holder would still work fine. I have considered doing this myself.

Sure, but try velcro first if the area is smooth enough to allow it to grab.

This is a suction cup mount but you might be able to rig it to screw into wood.

In the picture, the suction cups are set up to stick to a verticle surface. I would like to put it on my dash.

it is not designed to do that, you would have to modify it to do so.
