Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Rod I am more tha happy to recommend this rod to anyone who want the best fast action rod. FANTASTIC with sinking line lift a truck cast like rocket. THE BEST ROD FOR SALMON 9' - 7 WEIGHT December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Ever! This rod is fairly light and casts a mile with ease. Double hauling is easy to do and adds to the casting distance of the rod. The rod is very durable and looks great against the blue sky. I also love the deal that Bass Pro has with this rod. I couldn't ask for a better piece of fly equipment. February 27, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Flyrod My Temple Fork TiCR-X Series flyrod is the best buy for the money among saltwater rods. February 23, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing casting tool for a fantastic price Purchased a 5wt 9' as an upgrade to my white river beginners kit. I was looking for a fast rod with long casting distances and a more direct feel than the medium weight white river I've been casting with all summer. I originally went with the TiCR but returned it after finding it numb and devoid of casting feedback. I then went with the TiCR X and have not looked back. Excellent performance and control with a communicative rod that makes beautiful, 60+ foot gentle, accurate presentations an everyday reality. What an amazing casting tool its turned out to be. No, TFO rods come with a sock, but not a tube (Something I wish they would adapt; there are many budget rod companies that have decided to include a rod tube with the rod purchase) I suppose the choice is because the purchaser can then either buy a triangle tube or a round tube, whichever they prefer.
