These TiCr-X 4-piece Fly Rods by Temple Fork Outfitters™ have the power to launch large streamers and the action to handle almost anything that swims. TiCr-X Series Fly Rods feature oversized titanium oxide stripping guides, flor grade cork, beautiful rich blue finishes, alignment dots (color-coded for different rod weights), and newly-designed aluminum reel seats with uniquely cushioned reel hoods.
This rod is fairly light and casts a mile with ease. Double hauling is easy to do and adds to the casting distance of the rod. The rod is very durable and looks great against the blue sky. I also love the deal that Bass Pro has with this rod. I couldn't ask for a better piece of fly equipment.

amazing casting tool for a fantastic price
Purchased a 5wt 9' as an upgrade to my white river beginners kit. I was looking for a fast rod with long casting distances and a more direct feel than the medium weight white river I've been casting with all summer. I originally went with the TiCR but returned it after finding it numb and devoid of casting feedback. I then went with the TiCR X and have not looked back. Excellent performance and control with a communicative rod that makes beautiful, 60+ foot gentle, accurate presentations an everyday reality. What an amazing casting tool its turned out to be.

No, TFO rods come with a sock, but not a tube (Something I wish they would adapt; there are many budget rod companies that have decided to include a rod tube with the rod purchase) I suppose the choice is because the purchaser can then either buy a triangle tube or a round tube, whichever they prefer.
