TFO For The Win. This is a really nice reel, reasonable price point but I purchased it due to the great customer service I get from Temple Fork Outfitters.
Now for the review: The one way roller bearing is held in by a wire circlip but I found it to be such a tight fit that it was difficult to remove and the circlip difficult to reinstall. The drag is not really sealed yes it does have a vinyl skirt type gasket but I doubt thats going to keep any saltwater out. If you do use in the surf it will need diassembley and freshwater rinse. The drag itself is very smooth no grabbing was noted, the adjustment range is a little limited I feel this could be improved.
As with any cast open frame reel I would exercise caution, I have a smaller one in 6-7 wt and the frame has easily been sprung due to normal handling and transport. Do not drop.
Not too heavy holds 300yds of 30lb gelspun backing plus 100ft of fly line I almost gave it a 5 except for the minor issues noted.

Used this reel yesterday for the first time. Paired the 3/4 to a tfo 7'9 3 wt. finesse. Very smooth and overall great feel. drag doesn't have as much adjustment from loose to tight as I would like, but its definatly usable. It doesn't have an optional retrieval click, so it does not click while retrieving. On the good side, the reel has a solid feel, smooth operation, modest but classy look. and a good price
