High performance at an affordable price. Designed by Gary Loomis, Gary's Tactical Series (GTS) Casting Rods from Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO) utilize a proprietary scrim teamed with TFO's high-modulus carbon fiber blank in order to save weight and increase sensitivity without sacrificing strength. Built for the demanding angler, these technique-specific casting rods feature proprietary guides with stainless steel inserts that are super hard, super slick and saltwater safe. These guides are also 30% lighter than conventional SiC guides. A color-coded ID on the butt section of each rod indicates the rod's power. Other features include a two-piece reel seat and a natural cork ring split grip. Manufacture Limited Lifetime Warranty.

I lost my G-Loomis and went to buy another. The sales associate talked me into the Temple Fork Brand because apparently the creator of the G-Loomis is now making this brand for a lower price, so I bought two TFO rods. The Temple Fork Outfitters is not as high quality of a fishing rod. The blank is great, but in both TFO rods the reel would not firmly secure in its place when screwed in and felt wobbly in my hands while attached to the rod. Also, on both rods, the cork had a lot of wiggle and movement in my hands when catching fish as if they were partially detached from the blank. If you're looking for a high quality fishing rod I do not recommend this brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sasquatchi Feels Great
Disclaimer: I haven't actually fished with the rod.
However, after handling EVERYTHING in the store, these jumped out at me as being perhaps the most impressive feeling stick of the bunch. Specifically the 6'9 Medium powered rod felt extremely impressive. Once you handle enough GLX quality blanks you can pick out a High Mod feel from the bunch and this rod had it. Great balance, very tip light, and all the things I'd look for in a crossover inshore/bass stick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bassman46 Same blank as an IMX
A sales associate at Bass Pro told me that this rod has the same exact blank as the G. Loomis IMX rods that cost twice as much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paparon4BP TFO! My new favorite rods!
Have a tactical series M, MH & H and I'm really liking all of them. Very light weight, sensitive and strong. So far I've caught 10"ers to 5 lbers with these and they can handle all of it with the greatest of ease. Great rods for the money! Now that I've started using TFO, I don't see any reason to look at any other rods, even though I have lots of others that I still use for now. Eventually I get them all changed out to TFO!
