When casters need a bit of power in reserve to tame high winds or medium to large rivers, they turn to Temple Fork Outfitters' Axiom Fly Rods. These Kevlar®-reinforced carbon fiber rods are designed to reduce the ovaling effect a blank experience under load, creating an exceptionally smooth rod capable of producing ultra high line speeds with crisp, clean, accurate loops. Axiom Fly Rods are complete with Flor-grade cork, up-locking reel seat, and large stripping guides with titanium oxide inserts.

axiom 8 wt I was using the TICRX 8WT for several seasons but I am very rough on rods and would and would blow up about 2-3 rods a year . I switched over to the AXIOM 8WT 3 Seasons ago and have landed hundreds of striped bass and bluefish in the 10 to 30# range and have not broken one of theses rods yet. On the water 100+days a year THEY ARE TOUGH March 21, 2013
Cast like a Pro This is a great rod, it improves your castability to launch your line further than ever before . The replacement warrenty is as good as any other like Sage. April 28, 2011
Unbelievable Rod I bought this rod in 6wt and was so impressed with it that I bought the 4wt as well. Excellent action, and the rod will cast as far as you are able. It is even great for short range accuracy as well. You won't find a better rod than this at twice the price. August 4, 2009
Not so good I bought an 8 wt. and within about an hour of fishing I was lifting the rod to make another cast and it broke. Sent it back to TFO and they replaced it. Took this one out for some largemouths and it broke after fishing with it for a couple of hours, Sent it back and requested a TiCrx TFO which I already own one of. It has not let me down but the workmanship is just mediocre in my opinion. If I had it to do over again I would have spent a few more dollars on a Sage Fli which I have two of. The casting stroke is smoother and the rod is made much better. January 5, 2009
