Great boat hook light weight and strong. Floats to the first time using it of course I droped it. If you don't have this on your boat you are working to hard to dock your boat.

This telescopic boat hook is as I expected. It is not a wrecking bar. It will provide adaquate force (compairable to 2 fingers and a thumb at eztended distance to "guide" a 16 foot 1000 lb boat to the dock to attach lines. It is not going to stop a drunken captains boat under power or speed at the dock. Care should be your watch word.

The ad says "strong" but it's not. Any kind of side pressure to the pole will render it unusable. It simply bends and locks up never to be extended again. Don't waste your money.

Works very well ,I have been caught on the lake on several windy days. I have been able to put it to a good test and it has worked well.
