Rated 5 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hands On Wheel / Safety I have a high performance bass boat, 70 MPH range. I have installed a hot foot and then recently installed the duel pro trim switch for my hydraulic jackplate and trim. It lets me keep my hands on the wheel while trimming and it also lets me keep my boat proformance at its best. July 11, 2006

A:
Per the manufacturer, people have done it but we do not recommend it, do to the shortage of space between the top of the bezel and the bottom of the steering wheel. That is why we offer the PT2000P. Thanks

The switch stays at the 3 or 9 o'clock position it is held in place on my boat by 3 screws that were provided, i had to use a steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel and remove the 3 screws then place the tilt trim over steering shaft and reinstall the screws and put steering wheel back on took about 20 min,to install.
