This product works great and the install was very easy. This product combined with the Hot Foot Pro allows me to keep both hands on the steering wheel while operating the gas, trim, and jack plate.

If you use a Foot Throttle and a Hydraulic Jack Plate the Teleflex Pro-Trim 2000 is a MUST HAVE. This "paddle switch" allows you to keep both hands on the wheel at ALL times. This gives you maximum control in all situations. The design is perfect and the Pro-Trim 2000 is built to last.

I have a high performance bass boat, 70 MPH range. I have installed a hot foot and then recently installed the duel pro trim switch for my hydraulic jackplate and trim. It lets me keep my hands on the wheel while trimming and it also lets me keep my boat proformance at its best.

Per the manufacturer, people have done it but we do not recommend it, do to the shortage of space between the top of the bezel and the bottom of the steering wheel. That is why we offer the PT2000P. ThanksAnswers
