Easy install. Remove steering wheel, screw it down, replace steering wheel, connect 3 wires. High quality switch positioned perfectly. Being able to keep both hands on the wheel @ top speed is a plus. Looks pretty cool too.

Should be on every bass boat. Wish I would have done this sooner. Much safer and convenient. I will have one on all future boats. Not hard to install at all.

no, the way it lock in is using the 3 screws under the steering wheelA:
Per the manufacturer, people have done it but we do not recommend it, do to the shortage of space between the top of the bezel and the bottom of the steering wheel. That is why we offer the PT2000P. ThanksAnswers

The switch stays at the 3 or 9 o'clock position it is held in place on my boat by 3 screws that were provided, i had to use a steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel and remove the 3 screws then place the tilt trim over steering shaft and reinstall the screws and put steering wheel back on took about 20 min,to install.Answers
