I bought this cable to replace an old damaged one. It was a perfect match.
This cable worked wonderfully and is so smooth. I thought i might have problems getting it through the transome but it was a piece of cake. I have decided to buy another one to replace the other cable in my boat now.

The easiest way to figure it out is to take a tape measure and measure from the control lever to the back of the boat then just do a basic measurement following the existing cable. It is better to be longer than too short and it will not change the way it works. My boat is 19 foot long and used a 15 foot cable but it did some twists and turns so i probably could have used a 14 footer and been okay. the bigger the curves the longer the cable will last. Its just a cable not rocket science. estimate and go with it. if it doesn't fit send it back for a longer one.1 of 1
