Tough Enough I am getting ready for Bow season. I needed a target that could handle the power of my crossbow. With my Flemish String, the crossbow shoots bolt a 350 FPS. I have tried and failed to save money by LOSING bolt. With other targets. THIS THING IS A KEEPER!! Bolts will go through. They do stop at the fletch. A simple slight twist while pulling and they come out. You can use broadheads. I have not done that. Just practice with my 125 gr field points. August 2, 2013
Great Target I've had this target for about a month now and I'd say that it has held up better than expected. I shoot almost everyday and 100 arrows a day in my indoor range using my 45# recurve and this target stops the arrows well unlike other targets I have tried. Arrow removal is easy and it's relatively inexpensive. January 19, 2015
Excellent Foam Target I've been a deer hunter for 32 years and finally took the plunge into bow hunting. I bought a Bowtech Invasion: 60lbs., 29.5" draw. I'm shooting Carbon Express Maxima Blue Streak (250) arrows @ 57lbs., getting 288fps. I reviewed dozens of targets and have to say I enjoy shooting at my Realtree Shotblocker. A review of this target was printed in BOWHUNTER'S June/Gear Special of 2010. I have only shot field tips so far and arrow removal takes two hands until you initially release it the first couple inches from the target and then it pulls easily with one hand. I love the bright visibility of the black on yellow. Not knowing how it handles my mechanicals is the only reason for a 4 star. October 23, 2011
moneys worth it I just purchased this product and looked at all the reviews before i made this purchase and Im happy with it. i did not want to spend $200 plus on a target so i read the reviews and this was the best choice for the money. its obviously not a $200.00 target as far as self healing foam and easy to pull arrows out, but it is very easy to see at long distances and the arrows come out ok.(your 4 year old is not gonna pull them out) but you get what you pay for. Ive taken a 100 or so shots at it and it appears to be holding up well .I est. I should get 5-7 years out of it. I would say this is the upper end of a middle of the road priced target. if you want the best your gonna have to pay for it so dont expect the best target made for the money but it is a great value for the money and i would purchase another one.
