After my first forearm strike I realized I needed an arm guard...after putting this one on I was hopeful, but a couple arrows in and got hit again...instant welt and black-n-blue. Unfortunately not good for me.
I do want to reiterate that I am a NEW archer...so part of the issue could be my inexperience. (42 and learning a new hobby with my son) But I will be returning this for one with a bit more hardcore protection...

i have never liked the old arm guards. this one however is awesome for hunting with bulky clothes on and is very comfortable

I have used this sleeve for about three years. It is great on a cold morning to keep your jacket sleeve out of your fly line. On a not so cold morning I wear them with a short sleeve shirt. As the day warms they are easier to take off and store than a long sleeve shirt.
