This basket worked very well on the shiners we had left over after a day of fishing and ALL were alive and healthy the next morning. I can't say the same for the shad we tried to keep alive over night BUT that's not the fault of the basket. These shad are almost impossible to keep alive. Good basket, good quality. Wish a larger size was available.

This is for a very small amount of minnows and small minnows at that. I put 2 dozen small and 1dozen medium and all of the medium died.

The Team Numark Floating Livewell Bait Basket is great when your wade fishing with green backs or Spanish sardines cause the biggest problem I have with these baits is that even if I have them in a hard plastic bait bucket the just eventually die but not with the bait basket, It gives them plenty of room to move a round and actually keeps them less stressed out so there a lot more active and lively when I throw them in to the mangroves.
