Rated 1 out of 5 by worsed rod ever I bought this rod for my new carbonlite reel in April of 2012,i took it back 5-8-12 because it snapped in half.I got another one because I thought that I just got a bad one. On 3-27 13 it snapped in half again throwing a drop shot rig. May 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good purchase These rod's fish as good as they look! Medium action 7' for crankbaits and med heavy 7' for spinnerbaits. I bought two of each and will be ordering more. Very good feel and sensitivity. April 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice rod This rod is decent for what you spend on it. I got it with the combine Diawa reel over the summer and it has held up well to serious fishing, but it isn't as good as some of my other rods at detecting bites. Overall it is a pretty good rod but I wish it was a little more sensitive for detecting bites. April 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by daiwa t rod Admittedly the aesthetics of the rod caught my eye verycool color combo however when I picked it up and did the usual tests we fishing fanatics do for action balance weight etc I knew I have to buy this rod . Unbelievable a rod so nice in this price range is available.I put my revo Gen 3 inshore reel which has the same color combo it looks so sick together balance sensitive casts solid hook sets fish all day without fatigue take a look at the reel and rod u will understand how they seem perfectly matched I use my combo for bass and also saltwater rock fish lingcod and halibut here in Monterey Calif. My brother and three friends now own the same rods and all of us have been fishing 40 plus yearsand have owned many brands of rods serious fisherman know after years what to spend theremoney on just buy one u may buy several April 3, 2013

I'm assuming your asking about casting rod I own many high end rods with big names. However I only own two rods sub 100 $ range the Daiwa T rod and 13 Omen these rods are deceptively light because of the balance after 40 plus years of fishing I have learned what to spend my money on although I can and have purchased rods in the 250$ and up range the daiwa T and 13 Omen are seriously two of the best purchases I have made do your research buy one or the other u will use them for years

I would recommend the Team Diawa series Trigger and Spinning Rods. They are light weight, quality built, look good, and fish well. They have one for nearly every application.
