We used these recently on a trip to Kentucky on Lake Barkley. These hooks held the dip bait longer than any other hook I have ever used. The jackhammer hooks were awesome.

I did not like this product at all!! Again up here in Wisconsin we fish rivers with current! Not "catfish ponds" There is no possible way you can keep the bait on these for no longer that 5 minutes with current.
I did like the hooks tho!

I have used both these and the treble hook that are basically the same. I prefer these circle hook style hooks. Both are the best at holding punchbait out there . But I still like the rubber tubes for the dipbait over these because they are way cheaper and with the dipbait work very well ( as good as these ) . Dipbait go rubber tube / Punchbait go with these .

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DerrickT great dip bait utencil
holds dip bait better than anything else advertised on the market today, the hooks are of the highest quality, i can cast however i want to and the dip bait stays on, i have used this with premo origional dip bait and have had good resaults.
nothing compares to the way this thing holds dip bait.
would not reccomend this as a gift because i wouldent gift someone stink bait.
but i would reccomend this to a friend who also uses dip bait.

No this a J style hook, if you want a circle hook use their double action hook. These hooks are very strong and sharp and will hold up well.Answers

They don't like the hook. It's design so you can set the hook easier. The yellow part to designed to hold stick and dip bait. Hope that helpsTop 10 Contributor

Its not the hook its self that attracts the cats it's the dipbait that you dip them down into . By themselves you wont catch a thing.1 of 1
