great for dip bait holds dip bait better than anything else advertised on the market today, the hooks are of the highest quality, i can cast however i want to and the dip bait stays on, i have used this with premo origional dip bait and have had good resaults. nothing compares to the way this thing holds dip bait. would not reccomend this as a gift because i wouldent gift someone stink bait. but i would reccomend this to a friend who also uses dip bait. Great works great, holds dip bait very well, overall great bait holder February 5, 2011
This+Premo=Success I use these hooks with premo super sticky dip bait original, which I recommend, It held the bait better than anything I have found and the plastic parts on mine have all lasted, these hooks are great, if you fish with premo super sticky, get these. Only complaint is, and I'm not sure if all packages are like this, but I only got two hooks and an extra "furry thang" no big deal, I have enough treble hooks to last forever. Oh yeah, bring some really long pliers or the bass pro stainless steel hook remover, it came in handy. April 5, 2012
Decent hook Holds Dip bait really Good !! much better then rubber tube hooks.... Only thing I did not like was that we missed at least 30 fish .. could not set the hook for nothing!! Im going to try to snell the hooks see if it helps.. It could have been the way the cats were mouthing the bait that day too, so take that part of my review with a grain of salt... but as far as holding the dip bait works great wet or dry.. I used a furry thang wet and dry and it stayed on both times, you will lose very little at the initial cast, but that puts it on the bottom around your hook to attract the fish.

Works when wet for me. The barbs are stiff so getting it wet does not seem to affect it.

My experience is with premo super sticky, when you "butter" it on you dip in in the water for 5-10 seconds to "set it up"

I have not seen the furry thangs on bass pro's website or in their Springfield, MO store which is about the only one that I visit, but I know they are sold on the Team Catfish website.
