Gotta have more than one! These bumpers work great. They are pretty thick and have a needle valve to inflate/deflate. The picture has a similar situation as mine...a dock with no rubber. Another problem I had was the dock was on posts and did not float with the water level. Most of the time the dock was higher than the boat. The side of the boat would bump under the side board of the dock and scratch the fiberglass. I bought three of the short bumpers for my F&S. The sides of the hull were rounded so I needed three to keep the center from hitting the dock. I just swing them in the boat while riding...they are heavy enough to not blow out at 45+ mph. With the boat full of F&S gear there is not a lot of room left to store the bumpers. Just those three take up almost all of one storage seat. I guess for the protection your boat gets from the bumpers it is worth the extra cramming.... I would recommend these for anyone that ties up to a dock... If you have a deep hull or I/O you might want the longer ones. July 11, 2006
great product poor manufacturing Brought 2 upon receipt both were leaking. Returned them. September 3, 2007
Great buy here!!! These fenders protect your bass boat even when the dock is a little taller than the boats side. Excellent protection from any knicks or scratches. Easy to attach with minimal rope... Great buy!!! November 9, 2006
Taylor Bass Boat 23 inch Fender I purchesed three and returned two and now the third is no longer holding air ! Great product if it would hold the air. December 25, 2006
