A great choice for concealment or backup carry, the Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro Compact Pistol packs a lot of power and reliability into a small package. Built around a hammer forged steel slide with matte stainless finish and a lightweight, injection molded polymer frame, the PT-145 Millennium Pro utilizes a rugged recoil operated action instead of the simple blowback mechanisms found on many other compact pistols. This compact powerhouse also features an ergonomic, checkered polymer grip and enhanced finger indexing ''Memory Pad'', and posi-traction slide serrations for easy handling. The PT-145 also features a loaded chamber indicator and locking Taurus Security System for extra peace of mind. Low profile, three dot sights.

After 100 rds. my wife and I love this gun. It suits her better than me. She is very good, even for a first time shooter. For a small .45 the recoil is manageable and accuracy is not a problem in fact it is very good .

Got this for my wife last year and we are both ever happy with it. Its well balanced and small enough to hide in a ladies hand bag or other spots. Its stll a little tuff for my wife to jack the round in but after more use it will limber up. It comes with 2 mags a loader, and a carring case, and for the price you cant beat it

As a Deputy Sheriff in Calif. in the 70's and early 80"s, I carried a Colt Combat Com. in .45 cal. It defended my life several times without a problem. I am now a park ranger in Colo. and I carry a Taurus PT 145 as a duty weapon, and concealed carry. I have put about 750 rnds of different ammo through this weapon with only on failure to eject on the first round. My dept. is talking about standardizing to either 9mm, or .40. I will buy a Taurus Millennium in .40 cal. I trust this weapon that much.
