Taurus® Judge® Revolver
The Judge shoots fairly accurate. More than I would have expected. I can hit within a pie plate at 50 yrds benched. Perfect for self defense. Maybe good for hunting too.
PDX loads are o.k. except for bb's that go everywhere. Disks hold a good pattern but out to 25 yrds they are pretty spread out and not consistent. Stick with Federal 000 buck that are copper coated.
The magnum is a bit long to conceal. I would recommend the normal 2.5 inch cylinder or the smaller versions. No need for 3" magnum .410 in my opinion.
.45 LC are a great round for this gun as is PDX or Fed. buck shot. Look for stuff designed for handguns. Bird shot spreads out too much for anything but shooting snakes or small game.

I purchased the Judge after a lot of research and shopping around and couldn't be happier with it. The fact that it shoots .410 shot shells is awesome but the .45 Colts pack a massive punch themselves. Hit a bulls-eye at 25 yards with the .45 the first day I took it out. Got speed loaders for both kinds of rounds so she is always at the ready. Awesome revolver!

I bought a Judge with a 6" barrel. I've owned all manners of pistols, .44mag being the largest prior to this. Been a while since I had the .44, so maybe it's just me, but the Judge seems to have more *whomp* than my old Super Blackhawk .44mag. But that was shooting the .410s as well as the .45s. Accuracy is good enough to suit me. I bought it more for home defense (and because I've ALWays wanted one). In hindsight, I do wish I had bought the shorter 3-4" barrel making it easier to conceal. Wearing it in my shoulder harness (cinched up high), the holster still hangs down over my belt area, and I stand over 6'1". My NC-CCL instructor carries one with the shorter barrel and is very happy with it.
