Don't waste your money on this gun. I bought the 94SS and cannot shoot the gun. It seemed okay at the gun display, but its almost impossible to shoot. When loaded the cylinder does not want to turn. Sometimes it takes both thumbs and all the muscle you can muster just to cock the hammer. The gun is pretty much impossible to shoot in double action. I'm sorry I bought this junk of a gun. I have tried to polish the working parts with 600 grit sandpaper and still the cylinder is very difficult to turn when the gun is loaded.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by jobod dissappointed
I purchased this revolver strictly for target practice, and have found its performance and reliability a bit dissappointing. First it is not very accurate which could be the result of a very heavy trigger pull but the same is true in single action. Ther cylinder tends to lock up particuarly when the gun is hot. Finally I question the seal between the cylinder and barrel as there is always a rather large puff of smoke upon firing. After several hundred rounds it may be time for a trip back to the factory. Otherwise the overall appearance is fine, comfortable grip etc.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by bubba454 worse gun i have ever owned
I have owned many handguns and purchased this to have something to target shoot with. I loved the appearanceand feel of the gun but as soon as i took the trigger lock off and pulled the trigger, I was ready to take the gun back in the store. First of all the trigger is very hard to pull and the cylinder does not lock up when fired. It shoots fire out of both ends of the cylinder and shaves bullets. I sent the gun back and it came back the same. Overall a very poor quality gun. But thanks to the good people at bass pro I received a full refund

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TxYoteHunter Excellent revolver
I have had my blued Taurus 94 4 inch .22 revolver for a couple of years now. I've never had a single problem with it. The 9 shot capacity is great. It's been very accurate and has held up to a little punishment here and there with the both the rain and dust storms. A simple cleaning now and then and it's good to go. I don't think you can do much better.
