Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by excellent fiber optic sight This is a great universal sight and worked out nice on my 870 express, however the installation was a little more tricky than the description said. My 870 had a pressed in front bead which required it to be pulled then the hole tapped. All of the hardware is included but nowhere did it say what tap size to use for the supplied screws. After some research I found out what size I needed. The tap size isn't an available size unless it's special ordered, but with a machining back ground I found a similar tap that would work. All in all it turned out okay...just woulda been nice to know ahead of time what COULD be involved. April 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I purchased this intending to use only for turkey. However I found it also great to use while deer, squirrel and rabbit hunting. I couldnt believe the easy instalation. I do recomend putting some lock tite on the threads while installing this. This will boost your confidence in turkey hunting. March 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Sight! I went to Bass Pro looking for a fiber optic sight to replace the front bead on my Remington 870. After looking at all of them I decided on this one and I'm sure glad I did. The quality of this sight is unmatched and installation was a breeze. It looks like it was installed at the factory and seems very durable comparing to a plastic sight. March 10, 2012

The Tru-Bead includes different sized clips to fit your shotguns barrel width and eliminate twisting on the barrel. The low profile design will fit most shotgun rib widths.

Browning Maxus

Details:
My Maxus vent rib would be like the other Browning guy's & probably the front sight won't fit well? I do have another TRU-GLO front sight on it now and I just mounted it behind the original white bead so maybe that would work for this one as well or just leave the one on I have installed?

Given all the criticism of the set screw in the reviews, has Tru Glo made any improvements/engineering changes to address the problem? Thanks

Maxus Vent Rib

Details:
My turkey/predator shotgun is a Browning Maxus and the vent rib size is not as standard as say Remington's. Do you feel certain this sight will fit Maxus vent rib correctly? Also, does this come with both the round turkey sight and the fiber optic back sight? Thanks

Per the manufacturer, I check with my Tech and he informed me it should fit as this sight comes with 4 different sized thread screws and clips.
Details:
Does the front bead need to be removed to install this sight? Or does it just use and angled bottom to clasp on to the rib?

This would be used on a weatherby SA-08 Upland.

Yes, the front bead has to be removed and 1 of 4 screw sizes used to attached the new front sight. the rear sight does clamp to the rail. I had a pressed in sight bead, so to use this sight I had to drill and tap. Also the give you 4 -shaped guides for the other end of the front sight mount that is supposed to straddle the rib and keep it for pivoting on the one screw.. They didn't have a 7mm size, so I had to build up the edges of a larger one to tightened up. So it is versatile, but not universal. I was putting mine on a Browning A-5 !2 Mag. (Japan).
