Rated 4 out of 5 by Life Saver I've been using this product for a few years and it always seems to perform well. It appears to not only keep the bait alive longer but seems to make them active and happy. August 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST FORMULA TO KEEP FISH ALIVE If you have ever used any water treatments for your livewell before then you will love this stuff. This new U2 pro formula is the perfect additive to keep your fish alive whether you have the oxygenator system or not. I transported 2 bass 3 days ago in my livewell to release in a pond behind my house. One was a 3 pounder and the other was a 7.5 pounder, which was full of eggs. I used just the oxygenator system, which I have one on each side of my livewell, and the U2 formula. The fish were in the livewell for about an hour and 20 min.I also took them out before releasing them to get pics. What was amazing is that when I released them, how alive they were. I was really worried about the 7.5 pounder making it, especially being full of eggs.Well, I kept a check on the pond for the last three days, and no floaters. Hopefully, the larger fish will now spawn in the pond, thanks to the oxygenator and this awesome U2 formula. Also, just wanted to say too that this formula is nothing like the other water treatments I have ever used, as in it does not "stun" the fish or make them lethargic at all, but just the opposite. U2 pro formula and oxygenator have made believers out of me, and I will use nothing but these products in my livewell in the future. THANKS FOR MAKING SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT THAT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! March 19, 2008

i wouldn't take a chance, just put a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide because it is the same thing as water with one more water molecule. it sounds bad but its not if you don't over do it.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, but there is some important information you'll need to know. If you have an oxygenator installed in your saltwater livewell you can use the U2 Pro Formula but only the saltwater formula, not freshwater. If you don't have an oxygenator installed in the livewell, then you can use either the fresh or saltwater U2 Pro Formula. Reason being, you cannot use the freshwater formula with an oxygenator in the livewell is because the oxygenator breaks down an ingredient in the U2 Pro freshwater formula causing it to turn into chlorine which in turn will kill the fish in the livewell. So if you have no oxygenator, you can use either U2 Pro Formula (saltwater or fresh). --But if you have an oxygenator, you must only use the saltwater U2 Pro Formula.
