Rated 1 out of 5 by It Sounds Better Than its Bite This alarm system does not work (“AT ALL”) as stated in its advertisements; I could not find any good installation directions or videos to help me with the installation. Once I did get the alarm installed, and set the sensitivity to its highest point, I needed to jump up and down in my boat to get the alarm to trigger. I would not recommend this alarm system to my friends or to my enemies. May 28, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by the boat alarm cheap! I dont know where to start! The directions had many miss spelled words that should of raised a red flag. It came with double sided tape that would not stick to any surface with or with out silicone as specified in the directions. So that being said after the install was complete and the sensitivity was turned all the way up it would take an elephant to get on the boat to set it off!! when the alarm did go off it was for 5 to 8 seconds. The remote was a joke it self, it buzzed a weak 4 times and that was it, not enough to wake a crack head up! So if you value your possessions DO NOT buy this alarm for your boat no matter how many times it pops up in your google searches!! March 10, 2013

A:
The alarm is for while the boat is on the trailer. If the waves are strong enough it will set the alarm off. Thanks
