Purchased one for the inlet to my boat livewells. I have 2 livewells on my boat and the pump runs in short spurts to keep the fish and minnows alive.
I installed another one on the top of drain tube in the live well to keep any minnow's in that livewell from exiting through the livewell drain.

This strainer works great. simple to install. I installed
one on my bait pump intake and one on my livewell
drain pipe. No more rocks jamming my bait pump and no more shiners clogging the livewell drain.
