Easy to install, more comfortable to use and much stronger than the original rope and composite handle. If Motorguide doesn't automate the lift system on their trolling motors, then they should make this a standard feature.

Look this thing does solve the problem of standard rope or cord wearing at the contact points, great but it was a pain to install on an 09 Motorguide 36v digital. It was difficult to feed the cable up under the flat actuator and through the hole and then on my second trip out the handle cracked all the way through where the cable clamp is rendering it useless. Can I get just a replacement handle? Great in theory but they gotta strengthen the handle where the cable clamp meets.

Easy to install. And really makes rasing and lowering a piece of cake. I had broken two different 'cords' and was really frustrated... this is a dream come true and went on my Minn Kota in minutes... also the handle is very easy on the hands.. even made it easier for my 14 year old because the handle grip is better..LOVE IT!

Trolling motors should come from the factory with these installed!!! No more breaking ropes and fighting it in a tournament. Installed in less than 3minutes. BUY IT
