I previously bought another version of a TH-Marine hatch product and unfortunately the color selection was reduced...thought the polar white was same as I bought two years ago but it turned out it was light grey....close but no cigar....had to return unit because not a match with other hatches I have in my Alumacraft Yukon Tiller...and light grey version NOT available from Bass Pro Shops

I thought this product was mediocre at best.
Lid leaks, Hinge seem like it wont last long.
Screws that came with it are rusting after a month

Mounted this assembly in the verticle face of the center console. The lid is strong enough to be mounted in the deck and walked on! Be careful not to cut too large a hole... follow the "inside" of the template and file larger where needed.
The lid could not possibly pop open as I have seen on other boats.
Great piece of equipment. Higly recommend.

tackle trays X 3 are included in the tackle center that are same as Plano 3600 size tackle boxes (clear w/dividers)These are designed to be walked on....in my Alumacraft Yukon I have several on deck area (was cut out to accommodate them).....no problems with supporting one or two persons weight when walked on
