  • 2-piece rod
  • Lustrous dark green finish
  • Medium-fast action
  • Matte black reel seats
Temple Fork Outfitters Signature II Series Fly Rods offer astounding performance. According to the legendary Lefty Kreh, these 2-piece medium-fast action rods are great for beginners through all skill levels. Rods boast smooth progressive tapers that load fast but with the reserve power needed for distance, line speed and loop control. TFO Signature II Series Fly Rods feature a lustrous dark green finish, AA grade cork, oversized stripping guides and matte black aluminum reel seats with double uplocking rings designed by Lefty Kreh. Rods 6 weight and lighter feature hook keepers and half-wells grips, while 7, 8 and 9 weights have comfortable fighting butts and full wells grips. A rod sock is included.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great beginner rod. This is a beautiful rod that is easy to fall in love with. I love the finish and color. I upgraded to the Professional however. The action is very slow. I am not a fan of slower rods for general fly fishing. Doubly so for a beginner. Learn on a faster rod and it will be so much easier in the long run. At least for me. Spend the extra 30 bucks and get the Professional Lefty Kreh. Plus you get a 4 piece rod for easier carrying! All that said, great rod just not quite what I was looking for. December 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by TFO fly rod I was surprised with the way it handled, it was not as good a rod as the CV 2 it replaced but I am pleased with it , got to use it today and enjoyed the way it handled, and I really like the life time guaranty. October 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great rod I got the 9'0" 8wt rod for a saltwater fly fishing trip in FL and it worked beautifully! Caught many sea trout on it without a problem. The butt section of the rod broke when my father and I were going to fish for bass later on in the summer unfortunately. I sent the rod in for the warranty repair and after three weeks, I gave them a call to see what was going on, TFO replaced my rod with an upgrade to the Professional series. August 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Value price - great performance I recently started fly fishing very small, tight creeks in Utah and decided I had enough of trying to make a different brand's 8'6" rod work in frustratingly brushy conditions. I didn't want to drop a bunch of money on a very small, specialized rod, so I purchased a 6' TFO Lefty Kreh Signature Series II rod in 2-weight to cut down on the branch snags. It ended up being one of the best fly fishing purchases I've made. The 6' size excels in tight cover, throw a great bow & arrow cast, and offers plenty of sensitivity for fast, but light-striking Bonneville cutthroat trout. This rod will be making the trip back home to Pennsylvania with me when I go to fish there in October. August 10, 2013
