Have used this rod for years fishing for salmon in Alaska and I love it. The rod is great and TFO stands by their products. I accidentally broke my rod while fishing and TFO replaced the broken rod in just over a week after I sent it in.

For the price point, the flex, and the lifetime warranty you cant go wrong. I've had a reddingtion and an Okuma rod and they dont hold a candle to how smooth this rod is. I am from the school of hard knocks, having to read books and what gain experience from people I meet on the river, and comparing this rod to some previous I've had this is miles apart. I also checked out some of the more expensive rods just for comparison and I think I'd take this rod over some that were 249$ and above. Great build quality, attention to detail, the graphite is very nice and flexible in my 4wt and also very stong. I will most likely switch my whole rod outfit to rods from the make.

I bought this rod this past summer, I have had no problems with it and have caught lots of huge bass with it!! This rod will last you for a long time! If you are a serious freshwater fly fisherman you will love this rod! I am not a trout fisherman, I use a boat in deeper waters, but I am sure it will work for trout too!!
