Cast from aluminum with an E-coat steel pin, the seat mount locks into the post to help prevent unintentional detachment and offers a 3º tilt.

The seat installed perfectly on the posts. They squeak a bit when you turn but some grease fixed that. The angle was comfortable.
We had no problems with the seats even pounding through heavy waves.

We purchased two seat bases for our boat that were supposed to have a tilt to them so the seats wouldn't just sit straight upright.
Well the tilt isn't enough to make any difference. For the price they are extremely NOT WORTH IT.
