This product was exactly as described and arrived on time. This seems like such a simple item but I really had a hard time finding a place that sells these and has them in stock. Thank you Bass Pro Shops. I will be buying more products from Bass Pro Shops in the future.

My boat came with Swivl-Eze posts but for some reason 2 of the seats had the 12 inch posts which made the boat look kind of funny so I bought the 8 inch size and now all my seats sit at the same hight. Great construction and they look great.

This product is not an extension. It is a fixed post and does snap in to another post. I had to return this item.
I think the description as a extension is very misleading

Well if your talking about the length of the post, its from the top of the post to the bottom of the notch which has the spring loaded stud that locks your post into the floor seat hole. ( 8 inches tall and up ) but note the over all length of the post will be about 1/2 inch longer than the size stated, that extra half inch goes into the seat floor hole.Details:Â
JUST PURCHASED A NEW FIXED PEDESTAL BUT I AM UNABLE TO LOCATE A PUSH TO RELEASE BUTTON TO KEEP THE PEDESTAL FROM BLOWING OUT WHILE TRAILERING. THE STORE OR REPAIR SHOP DIDN'T HAVE ONE OR KNOW HOW TO OBTAIN ONE. I WOULD FEEL BETTER IF I CAN INSTALL A PUSH TO RELEASE BUTTON ON THIS PEDESTAL. THANKS IN ADVANCE.JIM
