The one that came with my nitro 2008 Z9 lost its gas last week. I was looking at the replacement cost and I guess I will be going with a manual adjusting pole. It was great while it worked but 2 years come on for 85$ it should last for at least 5 or more. Maybe I got a bad one

I have returned two power pedestals made by a different mfg. One had a loose mounting pin and the other had a bent mounting pin. I then looked at an old one that always worked well and found it was a Swivl-Eze, so I ordered the shorter one made by Swivl-Eze and it worked perfectly and is completely solid. I have now purchased the longer version and it too is perfect. Good quality control. Not all pedistals are created equal.

This pedistal is exactly what I was looking for for the fold down rear seat of my Stratos 176XT. Works very well and adjust to the perfect height. If your looking for a pedistal to use with a butt seat you would want to order the 18-30 inch model.

I purchased the Swivl-Eze Pedestal, to replace my original Pedestal that rust out, so far they have done all I can ask. I am a big man, and they hold my weight and functioned well.

I'm confused by the threaded or standard model. I have a Swivl-Eze that twist in to the base to secure. My seat just drops into my current pedestal; no twisting, but I'm looking for an adjustable model to change seat height. Thanks.
The threaded model drops into the hole on your deck, you screw in to tighten it so it will not pull out. The top is where you put your pin seat on and it has a locking screw to tighten down the seat . The lever is to raise or lower your height, hydrolic gas pressure.
