Swim'N Duck Remote Control Decoys - Mallard Hen
no range at all
this is a great concept, I was really hoping this would work well, it says range is 30 yards, I can barely get 10 yards out of it when I'm standing up across my livingroom. It is even worse when your down in a blind. decoy also leans way forward in the water. even tried to extend range by adding to remote antenna, tried foil and also wire. seroiusly for $100 this should have more than a 10 yard range.Maybe I just got a dud? Anyway, I hate to give negative reviews but regardless of what the concept or how realistic the paintjob is, its just an expensive floating decoy when you cant even sit on the bank and keep it working unless it is RIGHT in front of you.

works when working!
These decoys are fun to use and do attract weary ducks. But don't expect to get more than one season out of them. and if you hunt a lot, (more than 6-7 times a season) less than that. They work great in calm water. Rougher, windy days, leave in truck! I have gone through a couple of these because they attract ducks. But get them wet, there done! Not sure if I will buy another one this season. Also, my kids remote for one of his toys was on same frequency and worked much better with longer range than one provided. If the ducks arn't flying, set up courses around other decoys to keep kids entertained!
