I have used this climber for 2 years now, hunted probably 60 times out of it, no problems at all. I have left it in the woods on a tree on numerous occasions and it still has all of the original components. Some of the paint has chipped off but that is to be expected from use. For a "big man" this is the best. I have fallen asleep numerous times in it because of the comfort. I prefer smaller more portable during archery season, but first timers or gun hunters will not be upset with this climber. It is worth every penny.

This is my first climbing stand but i have done research for over a year and a half now i was stuck between the API and Summit but after seeing them and using both the Summit is the way to go for ease of use and strength plus shooting ease. The API is the strongest stand that you can get thought the summit is easier to use quieter lighter and fits the tree better this is a purchase that i will enjoy using any chance i get. I recommend buying the Gorilla G30 harness for ease and strenght.

This is the ULTIMATE in climbing treestands super comfortable, easy to use and secure, last year I killed a deer that came in from behind me, I had to stand up and turn around and my Summit never made a sound with me standing up and shifting around

I purchased this stand over the weekend to replace an older one I've been using for years. I was a little apprehensive about the price but let me tell you, it's worth every last cent. Easy to set up, carry, and climb with. The chair is so comfortable that I actually dozed off for about 20 minutes after setting up. I highly recommend this stand to any serious hunter looking for the best climbing stand money can buy!

Very basic harness, similar to a seat belt. Hard to figure out at first but you get used to it. I would suggest upgrading to a better harness like HSS or Gorilla if you are going to be in it a lot, but this one works fine.

The harness is ok, it's not anything special. I didn't like it because it was easy to get twisted and tangled up and trying to straighten it out in the dark would make you opt for not using it, I bought a Hunters Safety System pro vest and have not had a single issue with itA:
Yes and No. It is safe and fits well, BUT it is the heaviest harness I have ever seen.1 of 1
