I like the stand, it's comfortable and decently quiet. One thing I don't like is the plastic stirrups that move around no matter how much you tighten them and are uncomfortable to climb with. Also, I'm not sure if anyone else has witnessed this but i can hear a ringing noise coming from my stand while sitting in it. I can't tell what it is but it comes and goes and is fairly annoying.

I feel very safe in this Summit Viper SD Ultra treestand. Safety harness system is easy to use. And never ever go up with out it.. Looking forward to the 2013 Shot gun deer season here in Illinois..
Thanks for a great Tree Stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MuskieRick Best treestand ever built
This climber tree stand is worth every penny. I just got mine a few weeks ago, and I had it in a tree the next day, and have climbed my area trees at least 15 times in last few weeks. Its the most comfortable tree stand I have ever sat in. Most tree stands you can sit in for a few hours before you start to move around and then stand up than move around some more because your butt start to hurt. You can sit in this stand for 6 hours with no problem, Its super quiet, light weight and climbs with out any issues. It grabs the tree I climb perfectly. I will be using this tree stand forever.

Found the instructions lacking a little bit of detail and was actually able to look at the picture on the box to figure it out but once together works like a dream. Roomy and comfortable. Did come through with some paint missing but after seeing the condition of the box it doesn't surprise me.
