Rated 5 out of 5Â by Doug2012 Summit Viper
I bought this climber because of the excellent ratings it was receiving and I have not been disappointed. The Viper SD Ultra is very well designed and made, extremely sturdy, roomy and safe feeling to sit and stand in, and incredibly comfortable. It was easy to put together and transport out in the field and I really can't say enough about how comfortable it is. I am very pleased with buying this stand. Definitely worth the price.
Not any major cons but a few things to mention. The padding on the arms is tie-strapped on and tends to slide easily. Padding fabric isn't too loud but a doe standing under my stand heard my arm brush against it so I may take it off or cover it. She didn't spook but she went on alert. The 10 pointer I got 3 days ago never heard or saw me though..

Rated 5 out of 5Â by longs Great climbing stand
I've not used a climber since the old Baker stands many years back. After much reseach and asking friends, I landed on Summit. New land lease means I need to move around so I ordered the crush series. This is a Bass Pro version of the viper but with more options and still made by Summit. I'm 6'3" 215lbs. and the stand is really comfortable. Several said you need the titan or goliath, but with just a few inches in difference and more weight, I think this fits just fine. It's safe, was easy to assemble the few parts which needed assembly and durable. I bow hunt and have pleanty of room to drawl a bow, standing. Its quiet and easy to carry. Should be nice for gun season provided I dont fall asleep in it.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by BowHunter04 Good Stand
I bought this stand because it was light and a Summit. I liked it so far but it's not what I expected. As most have said, the paint is chipping but all in all it's been good. The "Dead Metal" isn't at all "dead". I have a lone wolf climber with dead metal and that stand is the quietest stand I've seen. So they need to upgrade it some. But overall it's good. I like it.

Whatis the real difference between this and a standard viper sd? Why is this loaded viper cheaper than a standard viper sd>Answers
A:Â
The only difference is this one has the footrest with it along with a grunt call and dvd.A:Â
I assume its cheaper because its a Bass Pro Exclusive. The foot rest sold me, it is a $40 value and u get this all for less than the standard Viper. Otherwise same Viper SDAnswers

The "rack Blaster" grunt callA:Â
It is called a Rack Boaster by K&H. It has a black blasting chamber hooked to a gray mouth piece. Made of plastic, comes with a one page call sheet listing how to make different calls.1 of 1
