Rated 3 out of 5Â by Livestohunt Bulky and noisy.....
wow... I still can believe I spent $100+ for this replacement seat. This seat is bulky and makes it difficult to climb with my climber. It's in the way and makes a bunch of noise. It has straps with buttons that snap around the stand. The buttons are cheap and I've already noticed significant wear after a few uses. I feel like there is another person in the stand with me while I climb and when it's time to pack up, this seat makes it even more difficult and time consuming. The pockets make a bunch of noise and are just about useless, unless you are standing it's hard to actually use the pockets. I've taken the original seat and added a better cushion, I've taken the new seat and thrown it in the garbage.

This is the ULTIMATE climbing treestand seat, sides add protection from the wind and the storage pockets are big enough to store anything you might need for a days hunt. If you don't think it's a value for the money it's a lot better than the standard seat and cost almost the same

My first treestand was this heavy $85 thing I got from this hunting outlet website. I bought one of these to replace the seat it came with and it made it feel like $200 stand once i got it up in a tree. Since then I've upgraded to a summit ultimate viper which already comes with one so I gave the old one to a hunting buddy and he loves it.

Very easy to install, extremely comfortable. I like the idea of the seat pockets so that I can put hand warmers in there to keep my kidneys warm. If you don't have one, you need one.

If your climber has a tubular style bar, then sure, It may not fit perfectly like it does on a Summit, but it will work and it will make it lots easier to sit all day and not get uncomfortable!! Plus if it doesn't work you can always send it back... Its a win win situationA:Â
I have an API BowHunter that's about 8-10 years old. I just bought the Summit Replacement Seat for my API and it fits like a glove. The only thing that I don't like about the product is the strap that holds the back seatpad to the tree; it doesn't seem like it can fit around trees with a large girth. Otherwise, it seems like this replacement seat will fit most other brands of stands and it certainly fits the API bowhunter.1 of 1
