Best hands down I've tried many different brands. All of my reels now are spooled with 832 in varied sizes. Search over. February 23, 2015
best braid for the buck Over the years I have tested and tried all the major brands of braided line. Having been in the tackle business for 21 years, I've heard a lot of comments from other fishermen about braided lines, both good and bad. Now that I'm retired, I fish saltwater 2 or more times a week. In my opinion there has been no product on the market in the last 26 years that compares with Sufix 832 braid. Knot strength is the strongest I've ever seen. Casts are further than any other braid. It just flies off the spool.! Sufix 832 has very little memory, unlike other brands. The line lasts much longer in the saltwater environment than any I have ever used. The line color does not fade. A better than 5 out of 5 score for me! December 19, 2011
Strong stuff I'm using #20 on an EXO35 spinning reel in both fresh and salt water. Casts terrifically and retrieves just about as well. I do get a wind knot here and there but have managed to undo them with relative ease. Colorfastness has lasted about 2 months with the line in the water 3 times a week for at least an hour. it's still green, just a lighter shade. Strength of straight line and knot strength is fantastic. I straight up muscled a 12 lb large mouth in an never heard the line sing. As a matter of fact, the only way i broke the line (if you wish to call it that) is to hook a King Mackerel on a pomp jig with no leader. This stuff is thin enough and strong enough that it will give you a paper cut t if you just grab an pull against your drag. May 12, 2012
Great Braid I've been using this braid for the past season and have found it to be of a superior quality, less prone to air knots, ties better and doesn't chafe like the other top braids I've been using. My wife and I fish some rough bottom in the inner Bay of Fundy and Suffix 832 lasts better than other braid brands for the type of fishing we do. It also casts well when fishing lures or plugs. Lays up good on the spool and doesn't bind. It's an all around good choice. November 14, 2012
