they kept coming lose overnight until I dampened them and they now work great. went on a short trip of about 10 miles with max speed around 50 mph and only 1 came lose.

Got these for my Crestliner cover. Will not stick to painted or bare aluminum no matter what you do. Complete waste of money, since they won't even stick while the boat is sitting... much less going down the road a 50mph!
