Strung Peacock Herl is on the list of top ten essential fly tying materials! The natural iridescence of peacock feathers has been catching fish and fly fisherman for years, and is most often used to wrap bodies. The dyed colors compliment the iridescence and make flies wearing this versatile fly tying material really stand out.

Strung Peacock Herl For the price this stuff is a great deal. I made some flies to use with my Deck Arm by Exxcel welding and this is the result. Caught 10 Hybrid Striped Bass released 7. The Peacock Herl really attracts some nice fish. July 16, 2013
great material! I have wanted some peacock herl for a long time since it is used in many fly patterns. My Royal Wulffs that use herl need some work, but I just got done tying up some good looking prince nymphs last night. I just hope the trout in Colorado will agree! This package of herl ought to last me a few years. I'm very happy with this purchase. June 7, 2012
best quality herl This peacock herl is amazing to tie with. I like the green dyed herl because it makes all my flies a million times more vibrant and colorful. I catch so many trout with copper johns that have a collar made of this herl. The natural is much more subtle. May 17, 2008
StrungPeacock Herl The strung herl is excellent and because it is easy to store and keep in order .; I is excellent for tying many dry flies that I ty for my use which is trout and panfish June 22, 2011
