Strung Peacock Herl is on the list of top ten essential fly tying materials! The natural iridescence of peacock feathers has been catching fish and fly fisherman for years, and is most often used to wrap bodies. The dyed colors compliment the iridescence and make flies wearing this versatile fly tying material really stand out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great to tie with.... This is a great product to tie with. I tie double troubles and renegades with it. It is amazing when the sun hits it. November 21, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by best quality herl This peacock herl is amazing to tie with. I like the green dyed herl because it makes all my flies a million times more vibrant and colorful. I catch so many trout with copper johns that have a collar made of this herl. The natural is much more subtle. May 17, 2008
