Strung Peacock Herl is on the list of top ten essential fly tying materials! The natural iridescence of peacock feathers has been catching fish and fly fisherman for years, and is most often used to wrap bodies. The dyed colors compliment the iridescence and make flies wearing this versatile fly tying material really stand out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fly tying essential Great color. A fly tying essential. Hundreds of patterns call for peacock herl and this certainly fits the bill. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strung Peacock Herl For the price this stuff is a great deal. I made some flies to use with my Deck Arm by Exxcel welding and this is the result. Caught 10 Hybrid Striped Bass released 7. The Peacock Herl really attracts some nice fish. July 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by a must have These are fantastic and can be used on many different flies. I mostly used them on black stone flies and they last for ever. February 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great material! I have wanted some peacock herl for a long time since it is used in many fly patterns. My Royal Wulffs that use herl need some work, but I just got done tying up some good looking prince nymphs last night. I just hope the trout in Colorado will agree! This package of herl ought to last me a few years. I'm very happy with this purchase. June 7, 2012
