I decided to go with this buzz bait and follow KVD's explanation of roughing up the buzzer to make it really squeak. Second cast produced a nice 2 pounder. My wife came up short with a bunch of strikes but I think that was truly due to her burning it through the zone rather than slowing it down. Definitely worth it. So much so, I bought a second one for her.

I'm a big fan of Strike King products, and the buzzbaits are no exception. The sexy shad color has been very effective, specially in the clear, clean lakes of arizona, and even on local golf course ponds. Good product by a good reputable company.

Makes good commotion on water and runs back to boat true and straight. Also like the colors. Good all around buzzbait for its price.
