Strike King Sexy Spoons
Paint comes off quick!
I bought one of these to try out because everyone was talking about how well they worked. After about 30 minutes of using this I noticed that the paint had come off. I did get some action from using this lure, but once the paint was gone so was the fish. They really need to improve the quality of the paint if they want to charge $7.99 for one of these!

Good idea, Weak Implementation
I use the Sexy shad in most offerings ie lipless crank etc, and the other reviewers are correct in their assessment of the durability of the paint. It is a chronic quality problem in all of the baits with the Sexy paint. Recommend they fix the paint, and lower the price of the spoon to something competitive.

Nice, but Needs Improvement
Spoon looks great out of the box and has good action. Problem is the paint peels off within the first hour of fishing. For the cost of this spoon the paint / decal should stay put or have an enamel finish added.

Sexy shad spoon & crankbait
Excellent lures. The sexy shad crankbait landed a nice pike and a huge bass followed to the boat. It stayed about a foot below the surface and stayed out of the weeds.
The sexy shad spoon was awsome except for the treble hooks did lots of damage to the fish and some could not be revived. The spoon was a great producer in 16'- 8' of water with lots of flash and wobble to intice strikes. I landed a huge pike and a 5 lb brown trout. I would highly recommed except to change out the treble hook for a single.
