"Go To Bait"
I always have one of these tied on to one of my rods. I have 1/4's , 3/8's, and 1/2 oz of these. I live in Massachusetts. I can catch largemouths, smallmouths, crappie, big pickerell, yellow perch, and huge bluegills on these baits. While I do agree, that the double hook does come off, I have found that a smartly bent piece of paperclip in place of the flimsy rubber O-ring works great. Still working on the problem of the skirt getting chewed & falling off, but thinking the same technique could be used. (tiny cable tie?). I recommend this bait, for those who don't mind using up one everytime they go out. At the price, against fish caught, I think it is a fair deal.
This bait is very versatile. I have caught bass, burning it, slow rolling it, slow bounce & retrieve from the bottom, & even vertical jigging for small mouths. >>>>>>BC66

Catches Fish But Won't Stay Together
Casts a mile and really gets hit, for me mostly on the drop. But with only 2 hooks many of the hits don't get to the boat. Worst part is the skirt is poorly attached and falls apart quickly.

Bought this and went out the next day. First cast the rubber piece that holds the skirt on tore in half. You can see in the display picture that the rubber is already starting to tear. Unbelievable. I emailed them about it and no response. This was the first and last Strike King product I'll ever buy.
