Strike King Red Eye Shad Crankbaits - 3/4 oz.
I like the larger bait
I really like the Red Eyed Shad and since I have been using it seems like my older lipless crank baits are not getting wet as often . I have always liked larger baits when I can use them , so when I saw the Red Eyed Shad in a 3/4 oz .I had to give it a try . The larger bait has more feel and if I can feel it more I feel like the fish can feel it more , makes sence to me . At this time I only have just one in the Sexy Shad , I have several other colors in the smaller size that I like and will probably add them in the 3/4 oz . I would give it a 5 star recomendation .

Trout Love It
I went fishing in Granby, Colorado about a month ago and wasn't getting lucky with my Vibrax Blue Fox lure. I threw this on thinking, "Hm, this might be a little big for these Trout..." but sure enough, my third cast brought home a LUNKER. I tossed this lure a little upstream, and started to bring it back, jerking it a little bit to give it the appearance of a wounded bait-fish. About three feet from shore, a 23'' Rainbow snapped at it and i nearly pulled him right into my arms after setting the hook. I never thought this big of a lure would work where i was fishing, but MAN was i wrong! The action it gives is already better than most. It looks injured as it swims, rattles, and if you give it some action yourself, your chances of catching the big one are just that much greater.

In my opinion these lipless crankbaits are great lures for the money. I know that there are other lures out there that are similar but are a lot more expensive. Strike King does a good job at keeping items cheap. The paint will scratch a little bit from northern pike however the quality I still give a good rating because the hooks are very strong and the material is very durable. Have not bent a hook yet. Caught many fish on these and during the brighter conditions the firetiger pattern can't be beat.

Runs True, Amazingly Realistic
The main differences between this lure and the Bill Lewis traps is the shape but more importantly it runs very true. At certain speeds, the Lewis traps will turn to the side and have weird action on the retieve. This bait runs very true at low and high speeds and throws out great vibrations that can call a fish from several feet away. I like to fish it over grass lines and hard bottom points because you can cover a lot of water and get the feeding fish to bite good.
