Strike King's deep-digging 3/4 oz Red Eye Shad offers all the same tournament-proven characteristics as their 1/2 oz Red Eye Shad. Carefully crafted by the Strike King Pro-Staff, the Red Eye Shad produces an incredible action and features a unique shad-style body, pro-chosen paint schemes, red 3D eyes and free-floating rattles to give you the best action and to entice tournament-winning fish from a far. The action when the Red Eye Shad falls is unbeatable and it's rigged with premium VMC® Vanadium Cone Cut hooks.
''I'll choose the 3/4 oz Red Eye to get maximum depth. It's a good choice for getting deeper in the summer months, for getting down on ledges or to yoyo it in anywhere from 7-20 feet. I'll sink it down and yoyo it along the bottom almost how you'd fish a jig. The tournament proven Redeye Shad is one deadly lipless crankbait.''

One of the best out there. You can throw this bait a mile and cover a lot of water.

Most ever Lipless crank bait fisherman will concur that the Red Eye Shad will catch fish. At one time the RedEye Shad was a bargain compared to other lipless crank baits, and most fishermen overlooked the problems often associated with the Red Eye Shad. Problems like the paint eaisly peeling of the crome, silver and gold, shad. Also the summer heat will cause the Red Eye Shad to crack open at the top. FYI Strike King has no customer service, op's. Now that the Red Eye Shad is competing in price with lures such as the Excalibur, Strike King really need to make some improvements. The Red Eye Shad is a good bait just not as good as they should be. The great news is that Bass Pro Shop will work with you if problems are incurred, and that really is a plus for BPS and certainly is a consideration when it comes to, who to buy from.

Great big bass lure. First time used; Second cast 6 pounder, Several fish over 4 pounds throughout the day. The Lake; Clear Lake, Ca. Mid June. The red eye shad 3/4 oz. in red craw color works very well by casting it out and letting it sink to the bottom and ripping it up and down off the bottom on breaks and drop offs. Using that technique I beleive it imitates a craw fish in a hurry. I also have the 3/4 oz Sexy Shad color (good results also), and 3/4 oz Gold with Black back Just bought it. While other sizes are available I recommend the 3/4 oz for larger fish. It works for me.
